I had to stick this picture in there so you can see Katie suck on her fingers if you have never seen it. She started sucking on her pointer and middle finger on her left hand just before Thanksgiving. A couple of months later she started putting her other hand up to her face as if to cover up that she is sucking on her fingers.
She is the sweetest thing ever.

We couldn't get Katie to lie down next to the giraffe for the picture, but still cute.
This girl is a crazy climber. She loves to climb over you, up you, over everything and up everything. 
She is doing great at pulling up on to her knees and to her feet more and more. She gets so proud of herself when she does it.
Katie was a little tired when we celebrated daddy's birthday but she did enjoy the birthday cake again.
We went to Garvan Woodland Gardens the beginning of April for the Tulip Extravaganza. It was beautiful. We had a really nice time. I loved our pictures from that day. The tulips were beautiful is so is the little girl in the pictures. She is such a happy little thing. I can't get enough of her smile.
Peekaboo! Katie loves playing peekaboo. She will now put blankets, napkins, clothes and whatever over her head and pull it up and down over and over. She gets a kick out of it and thinks she is so funny.

My birthday was over spring break and my parents came to visit. Katie loved the birthday cake and the chocolate cheesecake. She also enjoyed helping me blow out the candles.

This was a very fun day. We went out to Wye Mountain for the daffodil festival. Katie of course wanted to pull all of the daffodils and play in the dirt but we were able to get some good pictures. Afterwards, we stopped at a park back in Conway and went swinging. She loved it so much that she cried when we had to go. Swinging is one of our favorite things to do now. She enjoys it so much.
This was a morning nap that came earlier than usual. She was out on the living room floor.

Katie was worn out by the end of the pictures and loves to be in her daddy's arms.

Katie's 8 month picture.
Katie loves Quillow. He is so patient with Katie. She gets so excited when she sees him and likes to follow him around.
Towards the end of February she pulled up for the first time. We wend in her room one morning and this is how we found her. She had not pulled up anything else. We were so excited and so was she. Katie's two bottom teeth also came through around the beginning of February. I miss that toothless grin. 
We were going out shopping. I thought she looked precious. She had on green jeans, a white turtleneck and her jeans jacket. She was styling and so cute.
This is one of Katie's favorite things. She loves to stick the pieces in her mouth and then try to put them back but she ends up just banging them on the board.
We got this wall for Christmas. Katie is enjoying sitting around and playing with everything that dangles down. It will be great for when she starts pulling up.
Katie started crawling just after Christmas. She has a great army crawl. She is very proud of herself when she gets on her knees but to move she plops back down and drags her stomach. She loves peeking around corners and furniture.
